Parkview School – Operation ISAT Kicked Off by Members of the Armed Forces and Civil Service

A full school assembly at 2 p.m. in the school’s gym kicked off “Operation ISAT,” a schoolwide initiative encouraging students to remain responsible in their studies and honorable with each other, after veterans and current members of the military, law enforcement and fire personnel spoke in classrooms.

Veterans, including some school staff, and current members of the Army, Navy, Air National Guard, Marines, Fire Department, and village and state police departments told stories of their service to students and preached the importance of responsibility and honor.

Creve Coeur School District 76 made Adequate Yearly Progress levels this year, meaning both Parkview and LaSalle schools in Creve Coeur are meeting tougher state standards in test scores and student attendance, according to recent state education report cards.
