Parkview Junior High Students Put on Circus Performance

Parkview Junior High School students get the chance to put on a show today.
Thanks to a grant from the United Way, they were able to put together a circus performance that was all their own.
The circus acts included a BMX, balancing, singing and dancing, and gymnastics.
Teachers at Parkview say this event is a great way to make the kids feel good about themselves.
“It all is designed to give the kids the confidence that they need to basically maneuver through society. I mean, 7th and 8th grade kids have a tough enough time as it is with their self esteem, peer pressure, and everything that’s on them at this point in their lives,” Jeff Kluesner of Parkview Junior High School.
It took about 40 students to put the whole show together.
They’ve been rehearsing for it since July.
